Yes I’ve neglected this once again I will make time soon to write a proper entry but for now this will suffice.
Goobii now has installed:
* Trac - (hmm i wonder what his cooking in there ;)
* SVN
* DAV / SVN - checkout at http://www.goobii.com/svn/
* Apache2 w/ SSL
* PHP 5.2.1
* MySQL 5.0.38
* a bunch of mod’s for apache.. rewrite, alias, etc etc
I think with the exception of dovecot for pop3 email then i’m almost done. subsequently if anyone is reading this that has setup dovecot on Ubuntu in the past (yes I’m looking at you FredNerk and Kestrel) then I’d much appreciate any feedback.
Sub domains currently enabled:
* jenni.goobii.com
* quotes.goobii.com
(more to come..oh and Appa’s site)

Yes we’re back
Sorry to all you loyal readers that I dropped off the blogosphere for so long.
My last host had a crazy outbreak of Mpack. PowerVPS were handling it pretty bad so I decided if they don’t appreciate a loyal customer then it’s time to move servers.
So now i’m running goobii on a new host, using Ubuntu Fiesty and some virtualhost software… all self managed.
Hopefully moving to a BSD server soon but I will indeed keep you all updatedon how that turns out.
On other fronts, I recently got a new job at Komodo CMS as a software developer and am really happy there. Everyone is really cool but passionate about what they do and our product is amazing…My first rollout site went live and its the first to integrate Viostream’s service if you want to have a peak then head over to thefoundry.net.au or check out the showcase page on Komodo CMS.
So if you haven’t seen me online in a while or I am online but i fail to change my status, you know i’m at work.
Anywho i’ll keep this short. I hope you’re all keeping well and not too annoyed that i dissapeared too long.

I disappeared off Goobii for a couple of months, and you be uploadin’ pr0n on goobii, dawg? I couldn’t access goobii.com on my sk00l’s comp cuz it was classified as porn dawg. that aint kool. i thot we were homies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whatevs, im gonna go and eat some sandwiches, WITHOUT YOU. YOU WITHOUT ME, EATING SANDWICHES WITH HAM AND CHEESE AND CRAP.

Bugz
I found a bug with clicking category tags or author tags. It’s supposed to sort posts by the relevant tag but instead it was returning all the pages, worst of all no-one told me. The only way I found out was when I went to filter my own posts and nothing changed.
Please if you find any bugs here let me know so I can fix them up..I’m only more than happy to :)
Anyway it’s fixed now..weehee
I should be writing documentation for ACAN 3.0 instead of this but I just thought i’d let you all know the issue has been solved. Yes I passed my Learners test..pssh 97% (1 wrong)

Rebooted..CSS that is
Tada i reveal to you my theme in it’s entirety for css reboot. I’d like to mention i’m pretty happy with the overall design and more than particular fond of the top header.
It really came all together 2 days ago while cruising around, I’d deffinately say a major inspiration was blabbermouth as well as the previous Machine Head website.
Well im launching this at 4am my time which i hope is 1800GMT this post you see here is being set to published via cron and i wrote it earlier on this evening aswell as the theme being switched over also via cron…mmm the joys of being spoiled with good tools.
So without further ado I give you Goobii Jagged 1.0 hopefully there are no bugs, i have tested it in Safari, IE6 and Firefox so please if you find something that doesn’t quite look ‘right’ dont hesitate to drop a comment here and let me know and i’ll do my best to fix it.
Otherwise with all that being said I hope you like the new look make sure to vote if you haven’t already. Make sure you also take a few minutes to comment on the new look even if you don’t like it, just drop a comment and let me know your thoughts. Constructive critisism only.. any random flaming and i will send a man eating slug after you! (his name is Alfred)
